Journeyman Electrician Requirements

Must have a valid state Journeyman Electricians License to be considered for this role.

Minimum of five years of relevant work experience.

Previous experience installing photovoltaic systems.

Experienced with proper local building codes.

Prefer applicants certificated by North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP).

Able to work in a variety of outdoor weather conditions and environments.

Ability to lift, pull and push materials and equipment weighing approximately 50 pounds on a frequent basis.

Must be willing and able to climb ladders, stairs and work on rooftops.

Able to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.

Exhibit high levels of professionalism, a positive demeanor, excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Must have a valid state driver license with no major incidents in the last 5 years.
Solar Installer Requirements

Able to assist with Electrical wiring of solar array/systems.

Maintain high levels of quality assurance and quality control with an emphasis on crew safety.

Able to diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions and operational issues.

Work efficiently, cleaning up job site as needed.

Communicate with clients in a respectful, considerate manner, maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

More than 1 year of previous construction experienced required in electrical, roofing or framing.

Experience complying with OHSA safety requirements and regulations.

Must have full range or mobility in upper and lower body; ability to work in various positions and environments.
